Attempted to windsurf on Thursday. Man, I was pumped. I drove out to Dunedin Causeway after work I even rigged my new Maui Loco 6.0 Freeride sail, along with my Maui Pursuit 8.5. It was blowing about 10 to 13 knots when I arrived, not great but I’ll take it. Ok, so I was a little ambitious . But by the time I rigged up and hit the water the wind died to about 4 knots.

Venti what I ever done to you?

The Dalai Lama teaches that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck, but I doubt that he’s ever been a frustrated windsurfer. So now it’s Halloween and I’m still longing for that sweet Mistral wind.
