Colby Thomas Van Nostrand is ONE year old Today!!

Happy Birthday Colby~01/18/06!

He had his first taste of sugar today and I think he liked it.

Colby was born on January 18, 2005 at Bayfront Medical Center in St Petersburg Florida. He was 7.4 lbs and 19.5 inches. Now he's 30 inches long and 23 lbs - Wow he's grown!
It's hard to believe that a full year has passed. This has been an exciting time for our family. We have learned much about sacrifice, giving, patients, and love. It's been difficult at times, there have been moments where sleep and rest were not optional, but I wouldn't trade this time for anything.
I never really understood what parents meant when they would say, "having a child will change everything". Now I know. In fact, I wouldn't change anything.
