Last night I laid my head to rest with sore arms, sore leg muscles and a renewed sense of enthusiasm for this weeks obligations; I got my fix. I finally got some good wind. And like a drunk who finally gets a drink after a long dry spell, I’m satisfied, at least for now.

The conditions were a little off, not ideal anyway. The wind was slightly off shore, side off shore. I sailed the broad reach which always challenges me. The chop was pretty high and unpredictable and the wind was gusty. I lost control of my sail by too much power and then by not enough power many times, but it was still a small slice of heaven. I did see a 3 to 4 foot black tip shark, that was definitely cool.

I picked up some more tips for rigging from Brian Moser (Master Jedi Windsurfer) and all in all had a great outing.

Venti has smiled upon me and I give thanks.

Hey Van. Do you just have the white, 34 cm fin that comes with the prodigy? If so then getting a bigger fin around 50 cm will definitely help. :)
